Something old -
Something new - everything! since I won't be wearing any of the things I wore the day of the fire!
Something borrowed - mother's pearl necklace and earrings
Something blue - Urban Decay Delux eyeshadow in 'Peace.'
...and a sixpence in her shoe - sixpence from my mother's shoe at her wedding to my father!
I never thought I'd get married, and while I'm really relaxed about the whole thing I can't help being flustered with excitement. Bee and I have been through so much lately that we really need a happy occasion! My whole family will be there - my dad will walk me down the aisle. Flowers are being put together by a wonderful lady. The many people I've met and grown closer to through this ordeal will be there, happy for us, and I'll be overjoyed to share this with them!
My friend, e-beth, put a really positive perspective on a difficult situation which I appreciate. When I was texting with her last night she told me to look at our starting over (material-wise) as true newlyweds, who move into a new place and get all shared-taste things to fill the home. That made me smile. We've come full circle in a sense because that's how we'd attempted to do things.
I love Bee so much!
I'm falling asleep at the dashboard here, so time to say good night, moon.
