One of the first things that was donated after the fire was a Jello mold. No, really! It made me smile because everything was so very serious during that time but not the Jello mold! Life's upsidedown - why don't you make some Jello? I told myself when life slowed down I'd do just that. Tonight I'm going to put it to use - give it a whirl. I don't know if I've ever made a mold before, but my grandma used to make wonderful ones with marshmallows, swirls, & fruit. The mold that was given to us is a Tupperware one for molds on the go.
I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of fun, so I grabbed an amazing deal off of ebay. They are smaller tins so I won't have to practice in such a large container. The best part about the molds that I won is that they are circa 1933 and come with a "cookbook."
These are what I'll be checking the front door for this week:
Haha, can't wait! Who doesn't love jello?? here's an awesome jello blog
