Preemie Six Month Stats and Baby-led Weaning

Pardon me, but I have a few things to say about today.

Mamma took me to the Dr. Lady Who Remembers Everything. She sent her nurse friend in to give me FIVE immunizations with THREE needles. I know it's Dr. Lady who orders them but she sends in the nurse. They hurt. I screamed. Each time.

I got three band-aids with no pictures on them.

Oh, but that's not the part that you wanted to know. OK, I'll tell you.

MY six month stats:

Height: 2'1/2''

Weight: 14lbs, 6.5 oz

Dr. Lady did some research on BLW and thinks it's a grand idea so that's what we're going to do! I am practicing by sitting in my high chair at dinnertime while Mamma & Papa eat. They gave me a tortilla tonight. It was a long, warm strip and I thought about putting it in my mouth but dropped it on my lap instead. I'm not really six months - I'm actually four. What do you want from me? I'm just a little guy with a gummy smile and a tortilla in my hand. I like apple slices better anyway.

 

We went to the library on our way home. "The Baby Sleep Book" had come in. Mamma thinks she can figure me out if she reads a lot of books. Good luck, silly! I'm complex. Well, so we laid down to read the book on sleep but then we fell asleep! ahahaha, see, she's so silly!

It was really pretty when we woke up so I got folded up into the blanket she twisties around her body and we went to the park! She tried to take a picture but I had the sun shining right in my eyes and needed her hand. She'd left my sunglasses at home. I look too cool in them.

This is where the Amish sell the stuff they grow on farms to cityfolk like us.

I saw a lot of yummy apples, but we still have some golden delicious from our trip to the orchard.

I'm supposed to tell you that this food truck is covered in bottlecaps. She thinks it's neat.

Well, I guess that's about all. I didn't feel well tonight from all the shots but I'm a tough guy so I didn't cry.
