A First Date

I took Tee on his first date today. He met Maura in a garden then had coffee with her at Cafe Clave. They met in NICU on his 56th day in early June. Her crib was across from his and they had the same brown fuzzy blankies - except hers had pink-trim-for-girls. They are precisely the same age gestationally and are almost the same size and weight. They both like to ride their moms in mei tai style wraps and take infrequent naps. Her parents came to chaperone, too, and we had fun catching up while the little ones gazed at each other and shiny objects. Tee saw a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and remembered hearing Papa talk about their favorite foods so he posed for some shots. Bee was so surprised when he saw them tonight!
