This is also called How to Be a Big Muscled Papa, How to Stay Home with Your Toddler and Not Be Wimpy, and Yeah, This is How We Roll.

Because Brandon works a lot (job and school, both full time) he cherishes his time home with Tristan. It's one of the things I admire most about him as a person, husband, father, and dude. He saves the gym for weekends or wakes up before work so he can come home and wind down (while winding UP) our little guy.

Over Christmas vacation the dudes got into The Aquabats Super Show! "Aqua," as Tristan says, is The New Gabba. "Aqua, aqua!" When Papa gets home, 'kay? This is what goes on while I make dinner. The perfect distraction (for all of us) while I run around our counter-less kitchen.

Now, don't be fooled. I also have photos with Brandon doing the arm-around-child-video-gaming move...but what cracks me up about this is how un-phased Tristan is by it. It also makes for interesting dramatic play during the daytime when Brandon is at work and Tristan is trying to mimic him! He's pretty strong himself!

Last week it was glo-hawks - this week was weight-lifting. You never know what Wednesdays will bring when Papa comes home!
