Night ramblings from an insomniac.

It's Friday night which means I'm up really, really, extra late. If I don't sleep until it's nearly time for me to work at 4 p.m., then it's even harder for me to make it through my 12 hour shift. Work is becoming more difficult for me every week. It's exhausting and my protruding belly makes for awkward conversations with customers. I don't really care to discuss it. I also don't appreciate comments like it looks like I'm overdue...the staring, the gawking. Some customers are positively delightful, but most are not. It's less fun than I thought it would be to be a pregnant waitress.

This week I decided to do something constructive with all the yarn I have. I haven't made anything for Baby Tee yet! This is after three evenings of work - it's about 2' x 2' at this stage. I feel really mushy when I work on it...closer to my baby. The growing square rests on top of my tummy where Tee is, just on the other side. He's usually dancing about. His movements are sweet and melt my heart. I am trying to savor every moment of being pregnant - it goes so fast. This will be our only one, so this is my only chance to experience pregnancy. I smile a lot, even if I'm alone.
